PROJECT DESCRIPTION

A chemical manufacturing company in Jalgaon required end-to-end plant consultancy, covering civil planning, structural design, equipment selection, utility routing, and complete installation support.
The objective was to establish a safe, efficient, and compliant production facility with proper segregation of process areas, utility rooms, chemical handling zones, and safety systems.

Adhyntra was appointed to deliver concept-to-commissioning engineering support, ensuring smooth production flow, optimized space utilization, and compliance with industrial safety standards.

PROJECT PROCESS / APPROACH

1️⃣ Site Study & Requirement Analysis

  • Evaluated land area, soil conditions & available infrastructure
  • Studied process flow, raw material requirements & equipment load
  • Considered safety norms for chemical handling & storage
  • Understood expansion scope for future capacity

2️⃣ Civil & Architectural Layout Development

  • Complete civil layout planning for production, storage & utility blocks
  • RCC foundation planning for reactors, tanks & heavy equipment
  • Drainage layout, chemical-resistant flooring & slope planning
  • Admin, QC, utility block planning based on operational movement
  • Loading/unloading bay design

3️⃣ Structural Engineering & Steel Layouts

  • Structural design for plant buildings, platforms & mezzanines
  • MS/SS structure design for:
    • Reactors platforms
    • Working platforms & service access
    • Utility pipe racks
  • Load calculations, wind load, seismic requirements as per IS standards

4️⃣ Equipment Design & Setup Planning

Prepared engineering & installation drawings for:

  • Reactors (GLR / SS / MSRL depending on process)
  • Storage tanks – vertical / horizontal
  • Heat exchangers, condensers & scrubbers
  • Pumps, filters & process skids
  • Safety accessories (relief valves, flame arrestors, earthing)

Developed:

  • Equipment GA drawings
  • Nozzle orientation drawings
  • Foundation drawings
  • MOC selection based on chemical compatibility

5️⃣ Utility Engineering & Piping Layouts

  • P&IDs for utilities & process lines
  • Steam, chilled water, cooling water routing
  • Chemical transfer lines with safety interlocks
  • Vent & scrubber system layout
  • Compressed air, vacuum & nitrogen networks
  • Pipe rack design with supports, anchors & guides

6️⃣ Installation Supervision & Vendor Coordination

  • On-site supervision for mechanical installation
  • Orientation checks, alignment & tightening
  • Coordination with civil, mechanical & electrical vendors
  • Checklist-based monitoring for quality assurance
