1️⃣ Technical Review & Scope Understanding

• Reviewed IOCL-issued P&IDs, isometrics & line specifications
• Studied project quality plan (PQP), WPS, PQR & welder qualification records
• Assessed site conditions, tie-in points & safety restrictions
• Planned manpower & welding sequence based on criticality

2️⃣ Material Preparation & Traceability

• Material verification as per IOCL specifications (MTC review)
• Heat number, batch number & identification marking
• Pre-fabrication inspection of pipes, fittings & flanges
• Maintaining material traceability up to final weld

3️⃣ Piping Fabrication & Welding Execution

Performed all activities as per ASME, API, and IOCL QAP standards, including:

• Pipe cutting, beveling & fit-up
• SMAW/GTAW/GMAW welding as per WPS
• Pre-heating & interpass temperature control
• Adherence to welding consumable control (dry oven, storage)
• Joint numbering & weld mapping

Welding performed on:

• CS / SS / Alloy steel pipelines
• High-pressure utility & product lines
• Interconnecting pipelines & tie-in joints

4️⃣ Installation & Alignment

• Alignment & leveling of pipe spools
• Supports, anchors, guides & spring hanger installation
• Bolt torqueing as per tightening sequence
• Connection to existing live pipelines following strict safety protocols

5️⃣ NDT, Hydrotest & Quality Control

• 100% visual inspection
• Radiography / Ultrasonic Testing as per IOCL QAP
• DP/MP testing for weld surface defects
• Hydrotest / Pneumatic test based on specification
• Pressure gauge calibration & test pack creation
• Final inspection & clearance by IOCL QA/QC team
